 ASSISTANT MANAGER, INTERACTIVE MARKETING

Job Summary:
Martek is looking for a creative, driven and focused individual who will lead our interactive marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for building consumer brand awareness of Martek’s flagship ingredient, life’sDHA, via the internet, including but not limited to blogs, Facebook, banner ads and e-newsletters. The candidate will support our sales teams by coordinating all online business to business marketing activities. The candidate will also work with and manage outside agencies on a project basis. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with outside agencies to develop and implement interactive marketing
        campaigns to support the various business units’ sales objectives.
2. Manage the company’s website; coordinate with internal and external groups to
        keep content up-to-date; constantly look for ways to keep site fresh and engaging
        to consumers.
3. Create marketing collateral material as needed.
4. Keep pace with the latest online/social media trends.
5. Track effectiveness of internet campaigns.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business related field required.
3-6 years related work experience or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are required.
Experience in internet marketing, including social media.
Must be a highly motivated individual.
Must be able to manage multiple short- and long-term projects.  
Must be able to work independently and in cross functional teams. 
Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Must be able to
        effectively communicate with all levels of staff including executive employees.
