ORANGE ELEMENT EXPANDS WITH NEW STAFF

Baltimore, Md. (October 25, 2007) – Orange Element (OE) announced today it has hired a new marketing director and two members of the creative team.

Garret Ohm joins OE as marketing director.  In this role, he will work to enhance OE’s business by promoting the company’s brand and establishing mutually beneficial, strategically sound relationships with new clients.  Prior to OE, Ohm was director of marketing at Annapolis-based advertising agency, The Cyphers Agency, where he was responsible for winning and developing marketing strategy for over 30 local, regional and national accounts.  He holds a BS in mass communication from Towson University and is a board member of the Advertising Association of Baltimore.

Andrea Campbell joins OE’s staff as senior designer.  Prior to joining OE, she was a graphic designer at a number of different publications in New York City including Sports Illustrated for Women, YM and Family Circle. Andrea brings to OE extensive experience in letterpress printing and clean, sensible graphic design.  Campbell received her BFA from the University of Tennessee in 2001 and has studied at The Center for Book Arts in Manhattan.

Andy Bonner was also hired by OE as a graphic designer.  He is a recent graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in graphic design.  As a student at MICA, Bonner won the student scholarship award for the Advertising Association of Baltimore, which recognizes both outstanding portfolio work and academics.  Most recently, Bonner was awarded a Gold Addy for his design work on a self-promotional direct mail piece for a DC-based photographer.
