If you’re a college student in Maryland passionate about advertising, branding, experience design, or emergent tech, this is your chance to shine. Show us your talent, vision, and drive—and we’ll help you make magic happen.

 

The Innovation in Advertising Award is a $4,000 no-strings-attached scholarship funded by AAF Baltimore and our membership. Use it to fuel your creative journey and leave your mark on Baltimore’s advertising scene.

To be considered for this $4,000.00 scholarship, a student must meet the following qualifications:  

Eligibility

  • Be a full-time student in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0, currently enrolled at a college or university in Maryland, and have completed at least the sophomore year of studies.

  • Be pursuing a creative-focused role in design, marketing, or advertising, including but not limited to graphic design, UX, public relations, strategy, content creation, etc.

  • Preference will be given to student members of AAF Baltimore (Learn More)

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • 3-4 work samples and an essay expressing your interest in advertising or a related field are required (min 500 words)

  • Copy of academic transcript (current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher) required

  • ​​Inclusion of references is optional
