Hello AAFB Members & Friends—

As the elected president of the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore (AAFB), I am equally excited and terrified to embark on this journey on your behalf. It's an honor to stand at the helm of our over 100-year-old club—which traces its roots back to 1918, originally established as the women’s auxiliary to the men’s Advertising Club—representing central Maryland's thriving advertising community, and being trusted to carry on the incredible legacy left by those before me. 

AAFB's mission is unwavering—to serve as the unifying voice for the ad community in Baltimore (and beyond) through advocacy, support, and promotion. I’m thrilled that several previous board members have renewed their commitment and am excited for the talented newcomers that we welcomed to the team in 2023.  Our board is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and bringing an inclusive sense of community to advertising professionals in our region. 

As we continue to rebound from the pandemic, we are working to expand our programming and calendar—bringing back signature events like the American Advertising Awards, the TRASHYs, Hops & Headshots, our Member Appreciation Party, Advertini Happy Hours, Student Field Trips, and more.

The future is full of possibilities. Together, we'll make them realities.
