The Elevating Black Creative Scholarship celebrates Black student creatives who are shaping the future of advertising, marketing, and design. Baltimore is 63% Black, yet Black voices remain underrepresented in our industry. This award helps change that by amplifying your talent, vision, and voice.
 

By supporting this scholarship, AAF Baltimore is investing in a more inclusive creative community—one where Black creatives have the resources and recognition they deserve.

Eligibility

​

• Identify as Black

• U.S. citizen

• Enrolled full-time at a Maryland college or university, having completed at least sophomore year

• Minimum GPA 3.0

• Pursuing a creative career in advertising, marketing, or design

​

Requirements

​

• Personal essay (300+ words) about your passion for advertising and how you plan to impact the industry

• 3–4 work samples showcasing your creative ability

• Copy of academic transcript (min GPA 3.0)

• Optional: References or supporting materials
