AAF Baltimore is proud to celebrate one of our own.
Nicole Salla, AAF Baltimore Board Member and Nominations Chair, has been named one of the Top 25 Franchise Marketing Leaders.
The recognition was announced by 1851 Franchise, which highlights leaders shaping the future of franchising through strategy, innovation, and impact. Nicole’s leadership as Chief Marketing Officer at Kiddie Academy reflects the kind of thoughtful, purpose-driven marketing that moves both brands and communities forward.
Nicole’s path into marketing started with a love for storytelling. Originally planning to teach English literature, she discovered that marketing offered a broader stage for stories that connect people, build trust, and create meaningful impact.
That perspective has shaped her approach to franchise marketing. At its best, franchising blends the power of a national brand with the authenticity of local relationships.
Nicole often points to a few guiding principles behind that work:
Marketing can open the door, but franchisees build the trust that keeps communities coming back.
Empowering local operators with the right tools creates stronger brands and deeper community connections.
Technology should support the work, not replace the human insight that makes great marketing resonate.
Nicole credits the team at Kiddie Academy and the network of franchisees who bring the brand to life every day for making the work meaningful.
At AAF Baltimore, we’re fortunate to benefit from Nicole’s perspective and leadership through her service on our Board of Directors. Her contributions help strengthen the organization and support our mission of advancing the advertising and marketing community in Baltimore.
Congratulations to Nicole on this well-deserved recognition.
