GKV has promoted Mark Gray to Vice President of Business Development, a role focused on strategic growth, client engagement, and market expansion for the Baltimore-based agency.

In his new position, Gray will work closely with GKV Chairman and CEO Roger Gray to help define growth objectives, identify emerging marketing trends, and uncover new business opportunities. He will also lead efforts to build relationships with prospective clients, support the agency’s thought leadership and marketing efforts, and represent GKV throughout the business development process.

“Mark’s passion for business development and sales skills will serve him and GKV well in his new role,” said Roger Gray, chairman and CEO. “Being able to share the legacy of GKV with the next generation and adding to what we have built is exciting. My partners and I look forward to seeing Mark excel in this position.”

Gray joined GKV in 2020 as a digital analyst and expanded into a dual role as an account executive in 2021. As part of the digital team, he developed tracking strategies and analyzed campaign performance to help deliver actionable, data-driven insights for clients. In his account management role, he has served as a liaison between agency teams and client stakeholders, overseeing day-to-day project execution for clients including the Maryland Cannabis Administration and Constellation Home.

He has also been an active member of GKV’s new business committee since joining the agency, helping shape how the team tracks, prepares for, and responds to new opportunities.

“I am excited to take on this new role and continue to advance the agency’s growth strategy,” said Gray. “The agency has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional campaigns, creative and results. I look forward to helping expand its reach and bolster new opportunities for success.”

Before joining GKV, Gray served in the United States Marine Corps, where he worked in aviation logistics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Gray also serves on the board of the American Advertising Federation Baltimore. Outside the office, he enjoys cheering on the Ravens and Orioles, experimenting with new recipes on the grill, and spending time with his wife, Baylee, and their golden retriever, Jackson.

Congratulations to Mark on this well-earned promotion.
